The Cameronian Travel Club
Twenty Five members of the Club travelled to Holland and Germany during September to pay their respects to the fallen members of the Regiment who gave their lives in the fight for freedom.
They visited some of the battlefields and cemeteries where the Regiment fought in October 1944 and held a short service and laid wreaths and Poppy Crosses.
Sept 6th – Hodenskerke and Nieuwdorp and the military cemetery at Bergen op Zoom where they laid a wreath.
Sept 7th – Museum at Vught then laying a wreath at the cemeteries Of Sittard and Brunssum.
Sept 8th - They laid a wreath at the military cemetery at Kleve then visited Arnhem and the museum at Oosterbeek.
Sept 9th – Regimental Lunch at the Hotel De Dikke Van Dale in Sluis
